Data Deletion Policy

This Data Deletion Policy explains how users of Community Communications, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) can request deletion of their data collected through our marketing platform and our integrations with third-party services such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Amazon SES, and Twilio.

We only store the minimum information required to connect your accounts and enable you to publish posts, emails, and SMS messages from our platform.

  1. How to Delete Your Connected Data

    Users may delete their third-party integration data at any time by disconnecting their connected accounts.

    To disconnect and remove data:

    1. Log in to your account
    2. Navigate to: Dashboard > Admin > Service Setup
    3. Choose the service you wish to disconnect (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, X)
    4. Click “Disconnect”

    When you disconnect a service, we immediately delete:

    • OAuth access tokens
    • Refresh tokens
    • Token expiration records
    • Permissions/scopes granted to us
    • Platform-specific IDs (Page ID, IG Business ID, TikTok Business ID, etc.)
    • Any cached metadata retrieved from the connected platform

    After disconnecting, our platform can no longer access, post, or retrieve data from the associated service.

  2. What Data Is Automatically Deleted

    Upon disconnection, the following associated data is removed from our system:

    Authentication Data
    • OAuth tokens
    • Token refresh data
    • Permission scopes
    • API session data
    Platform Metadata
    • Page IDs
    • Business IDs
    • Account IDs
    • Upload session identifiers
    • Any platform-specific configuration stored for posting
    1. User-Provided Content Linked to the Integration

    If content (images, videos, drafts, scheduled posts) is specifically tied to the disconnected platform, it is deleted unless required to fulfill legal obligations.

  3. What Data May Be Retained

    We may retain certain limited data where required for:

    • Security
    • Fraud prevention
    • Compliance
    • System logs
    • Email/SMS delivery reporting (Amazon SES, Twilio)
    • Billing records

    This retained data does not include OAuth tokens or content from connected social accounts and cannot be used to post or access your accounts.

    We do not retain personal data from Meta or TikTok once the integration is removed.

  4. Requesting Data Deletion Manually

    If you prefer to request deletion directly, you may contact us at:

    Upon verification of account ownership, we will:

    1. Delete all OAuth credentials
    2. Delete platform metadata
    3. Remove associated content
    4. Confirm completion via email
  5. Data Deletion When Closing Your Account

    If you close your entire account with us:

    • All connected services are automatically disconnected
    • All associated OAuth data is erased
    • All platform metadata is deleted
    • User-uploaded content is removed

    System logs may remain as required for compliance and security.

  6. Compliance With Third-Party Platform Policies

    Our deletion process complies with:

    • Meta Platform Terms
    • Instagram Platform Terms
    • Facebook Login Policies
    • TikTok Developer Terms
    • Reddit Developer Terms
    • X Developer Terms
    • Applicable privacy regulations (e.g., PIPEDA, GDPR, CCPA where relevant)

    We delete data promptly and do not use or store it beyond what is necessary to provide our Services.
